I am happy to see that more and more people are getting interested in the topic of self-healing.
It is true that your body is constantly repairing itself and when you are faced with a chronic disease, something is blocking this innate healing ability. When this happens, most people turn to drugs as it is the promised land, the “quick fix”. When we do so, we might feel temporarily better as the symptoms are suppressed, but we forget that we must change “something” to bring the body back into balance in order to truly heal. For some people, this “something” might require you to change your diet, to take care of your emotional health, or finding meaning in your life. For others, it can mean letting go of old resentments or a toxic relationship.
When we use drugs to suppress our symptoms and feel better something else happens, which is often overlooked but of great importance: We get conditioned to look for answers outside of ourselves and we learn to give our power away. Of course, we also learn that “health” has its price and that we must rely on drugs to feel better.
But is this really the truth? I don´t think so.
This new and upcoming movie “The Business of Diseases” explores “the vastness of human potential despite the restrictions of programmed beliefs. For the sheer purpose of profit and control illness is marketed to the minds of the unsuspecting masses. The results is a society programmed for sickness and death.”
Let´s hope that over time we as a society can rediscover our innate healing capacities, so that we not only become healthier, but more empored as well.
